We understand the importance of sustainability. By using less concrete and less steel, Danley products can offer considerable reductions in both materials and labour on-site. With up to 20% less CO2e per installation, we support the sustainability of your build and help you deliver tangible cost and time savings.
By combining ground supported flatwork designs and tapered plate dowel technology, we’ve removed the need for costly and time-consuming mesh or fibre reinforcements. The design optimises both materials and labour, keeping costs down and ensuring a fast and hassle-free installation with reduced time on-site compared to standard alternatives.
Danley’s Strategic Reinforcement™Design removes the steel reinforcement from the mid-panel and puts it at the joints in the form of tapered plate dowels. This provides stability at the joints, which minimises spalling and reduces out of joint panel cracks, while strategically controlling known load transfer issues in order to maintain the structural integrity of the concrete slabs. Tolerances at the joint are forgiving too, thanks to the tapered design of Danley® Dowels.
